No JCW suspension available on 2011 yet??

Spoke with my dealer today about what options I'm getting installed on my new JCW. She said that the JCW suspension isn't available yet on the 2011s. What's the deal with that? What's new about the suspension which would cause a need for redesign??

What should I do?

Just go aftermarket?

Since both the JCW suspension and the floor mats are dealer parts (and install), my guess is they're simply currently out of stock. I got the checkered mats in mine earlier this month without even asking, and there is nothing changed in the car's suspension for 2011, so sounds like the OP's dealer might not be stating the problem correctly.

I agree, I dont think anything changed on 2011 for suspension..
Just called another dealer. he said same thing. they stopped making them people were complaining they were to slippery!!

I picked up the JCW mats for the front only back in September. I do not think they are slippery at all. They do get very dirty and very easily. They look like a cloth/rug type of material but I think they are really some type of plastic. I have washed mine with soap and water a few times. Since its now officially winter, I went back to the rubber mats.

I was always on the fence with regard to the JCW style mats. They do look much better in person. Its very similar to the JCW CF parts. You need to see them in person or on your car to appreciate them.

I like the cosmopolitan mats the best:

So what's a good aftermarket solution to go with that's comprable?

I'd imagine, like everything aftermarket, I can get more bang for my buck anyway?

What a crock. I had them on my prior JCW and again now, and I think they're great. They're physically heavier than the carpet mats so don't move around much. They do get dirty like onefish says, but you can scrub them up easily enough. I think they add a bit of panache to the interior.

It sucks, thought they were pretty cool looking! And i only paid 60 bucks for all 4. Maybe they just didn't sell enough to keep making them. Or maybe a new style is coming out....

Dealer advised they are in receipt of the full JCW suspension kit with the exception of the rear springs which are en route and due ~Wednesday, 01/19.
