JCW kit on plastic ramps??

I would like to buy a set of Rhino ramps to do my oil change, but not sure if it will clear the JCW front bumper.......anyone done this?

Please share if it works or if bumper scrapes the ramp.

Thanks!

I personally jack up the car and slide the ramps under each wheel. In my opinion it's safer that way.

I was trying to avoid using my jack at all. I always use the jack and stands on my other cars, but i am getting tired of that now. I want it easy,lol....plastic ramps are light.

I hear you. I've had ramps slip a couple of times, so I tend to use the jack method with the ramps, although it does take longer.

I also use a 2 x 6 - about 18" long in front of the ramps. My Rhino ramps have a rubber bumper in the bottom and do not slip on my pavement.

The rhino ramps have a 17 degree incline and under 50 bucks.
Race ramps are 10 degree but cost 200 bucks!

Put a lift in the garage, that's what I did...lol

You will probably have to use a pair of 2x6's or 8's to use ramps

I've had a JCW on my rhino ramps -- no issue. And I've found that I can butt the ramps up against the edge of my garage floor (from the driveway) and they don't have a chance of moving.

Unless your JCW is lowered the ramps should work fine (mine were $39 @ Wallyworld).

Or move next door to a guy with a lift in his garage, that's what I did!
