I got a 09 MCS with a Exhuast Depot DP and it would be pretty sick, if i had the JCW Exhuast so it sounds like a beast

Just buy it from Morristown MINI. I ordered the back muffler only and it was about $360 shipped.

Good question! The factory exhaust seems to be more popular, so that's what I assumed.

$362 to be exact shipped to California, ordered today. The factory car has the cat back shown above in addition to different piping which removes the secondary cat and has a larger resonator. I didn't want the different piping, so I didn't get pricing on that.

It can be done at home. You'll need the exhaust,a 55mm clamp, a saw and a big screwdriver. There should be a notch already on the exhaust pipe where you cut.

You can also take it to any exhaust shop and they'll do it for cheap. It's really easy for them to do on a lift.

The differences between stage 1 and factory are: different front muffler (factory has no 2nd cat and larger resonator), different rear muffler, different tips (stage 1 is also engraved). Sound is different.

There is no direct link to it on Morristown, you have to call or email them.

does the Factory JCw have less of a 'droney' sound. I like the JCW Stage 1 kit but the drone can get somwhat tiresome.

I haven't driven a Stage I car, so I don't know. You could get the factory front muffler which has a larger resonator and removes the cat. Should help.

Does anybody have or know where I can find the JCW BMW installation sheet for this? I just ordered the whole system (front and rear sections along with clamp). Many thanks in advance!

I purposely replaced my ED exhaust muffler with a JCW (Stage I) and it worked PERFECT. I tried many different mufflers and this one didn't leave any drone or anything.

I don't think it'll make a difference if it's a stage I or a factory setup but nonetheless, it'll sound great.

Back from the dead! I wonder what the factory JCW exhaust would sound like if you got the different piping (downpipe back to remove the 2nd cat), and had a catless DP installed? Do you think the noise would be untolerable?

Factory JCW catback with stock S DP and front section is already pretty noisy for me!
