Ok, so I just looked at my 06 car MCS and I count 4 pieces ? Meaning I don't have a small piece around the vent on the right side, it is just one long piece.

Also, not sure about above the steering column as I have the dealer installed volt/boost gauge. That may be one or two pieces, not sure if it connects in the middle.

Anyway, so how many pieces does an '06 MCS JCW have/need?

 

Definitely 3 pieces, too bad the Ebay guy does not have any 3 piece kits.

I guess the 5 piece version is for 02-04 cars?

Thanks for the info 4Boogie. Wow, $350 is 75% more than the Ebay 5 piece, that is significant. I can't imagine a price of $1200, that is insane.

I will have to think about that purchase, at least the shipping is free at Outmotoring if over $300.

 

I dont know why the 5 piece is so cheap bet I paid $380 for mine on ebay before outmotoring had this deal. I had to bid against other NAM'ers. I think you should get it while you can. Others....shout out what you paid for yours

The parts manager there said that when he ordered mine there were 5 left in the country ! They have supposedly stopped making these and once theyre gone, theyre gone. It also looks like theyve stopped making the JCW rear spoiler for the R53 so theres prob few of those around too

Anyone know if the wood dash goes in like the CF dash? I have an R52 and was thinking of getting the wood dash for it.

 

I got a question for you guys, I take it these kits don't "fit all" (not year build wise) in the sense that I would need a RHD version for my car? All the kits I see on the net are LHD pictured cars. So I take it this would not work for my car?

 

you would need a right hand drive dashboard. That ebay seller had some but may have sold them all

Im luckily that i got the 5 pieces CB dash for only 150 shipped to Spain, from the same dutch seller, i couldn't imagine few years ago that i will get this so cheap when it was over 500...next purchase will be downtubes, ****,handbrake and gaitors in alcantara.
