Survey says....you get a full, complete race car...ready to go (with those awesome built in air jacks!)...that will destroy an M3.
Ya. It's a spec racer that's ready to roll. Not going to find a better package for 70k. Now if they could just sell enough of them to make a series out of it. That would ROCK!
I saw a video of them racing at the Ring on Youtube. I'll post the link if I can find it again.
Yeah, really... It's a cool car, to be sure, but you could have more fun with your own Mini for less. I don't think the price is worth it. It's designed for a very specific purpose - the Mini Challenge races. There's not much else that it'd be competitive in beyond that. Still, I love to watch the Challenge series. It's quite entertaining...
Given that the stock R56 MCS has was tested by both Road & Track and Car and Driver at 6.2 seconds 0-60, something tells me that BMW has severely under-stated the capabilities of the race version as well.

Yea, and after having driven the new factory JCW car...I'd safely say its much faster than 6.2 sec. It's impressive. Strip everything out of it in the Challenge car, and I think you end up with a suprisingly quick lil devil.
They are not street legal, which rules me out, although I would love one
