Why does it look like a capuccino? You don't have water in yer oil I hope??
Yes it is water but remember this is filtering the air line if you look at my gallery you will see the catch can hook up.
From the BSH site:
Function:
Increase your engines performance and longevity with a BSH catch can system. Our catch can catches oil vapors and still fully meets emission requirements. Internally the catch can has chamber that forces oil to separate from the air as it passes through. This oil then falls into the gut of the can and can be drained at your next oil change.
For the best performance possible you do not want this oil making its way back into your engine! Short term oil vapors being ingested result in a greater chance for pre ignition, over time however this oil will cake the intake valves shortening the life of the engine. Outside of oil, the can will also catch water and fuel. Take a look at the detailed pic section to see what muck is getting ingested into your engine! Stop this once and for all!

X2... I've never liked the horizontal stripes but that looks cool.
Mark
I purchased them from http://www.aestheticreations.net/ and they arrived in under 2.5 weeks. I had a local place do the install. I think it looks just awesome. I think the side of the Mini was always lacking, but now it looks complete.
BTW, the "JOHN COOPER WORKS" wording above was not part of the Challenge Stripe. I had Aesthetic Creations cut that out as well. In the end, there were four seperate pieces that had to be installed.
I was just quoted $1,595 for the entire kit (primed) from Cooperstown Minis. The only reason i was quoted for the primed kit is because the kit doesnt come prepainted in my color (mellow yellow).
The price BEATS ALL 4 OF MY LOCAL MINI DEALERS but in my case is not a deal since they also quoted me $250 for shipping & handling :( which brings up the price to what i was quoted by one of my local dealers.
Now if you are in NY or New Jersey area and you are considering this kit, by all means Morristown Minis is the place to go!
I'm still shopping around and hope to find a good deal so i can get this beautiful kit on my car

^Looking top notch as always. Kris's wheels look incredible on your color.
@Zanary, love the stripes and wording! The position of the words adds a lot of interest.

Thanks Mark!
You wouldn't believe the troubles I have gone thru to get those rear wheels not to rub LOL.
Long story short, the metal fender under the plastic is basically gone. Its cut all the way to just below the plastic clips that hold it in. Thats ~2" I had to cut off. It got it's first dent (from me being an idiot) in the drivers rear fender area so I am hoping I can get it pulled without a respray as its pretty small

I'd like to make a suggestion. When I installed my 225's, the right rear was rubbing just a hair when I had a passenger in the back seat.
I took the inner fender liner out and took a body hammer (a bigger ball peen will work) and rode the rail by tapping along the edges evenly.
By doing so, I "rolled" the outer sheetmetal away from the tire by about a 1/4". The metal stayed completely intact, the paint wasn't even broken. It simply moved the inner part of the qtr lip over a bit.
The only downside is the inner fender liner still rubs a bit on the tire when I carry a passenger. I took it out and cut 1/2" of material away from the qtr side of it.
The fender liner is there only to deaden the sound and prevent rock chips, it doesn't stop water or anything getting up in there so taking out a half inch doesn't effect anything except allows me to ride with 225's and not rub with 3 passengers and a full tank of gas.
HTH's,
Mark
That helps a lot Mark thanks!
I actually did very similarly lately mostly because of the rubbing issues were actually slicing into my tires which I didnt think was very safe
I had rolled that lip previously only for it to continue, so I ended up cutting that lip and some more off so the plastic fender stayed in the same location but it doesnt rub at all anymore. I think I should mask off the big area and spray a quick coat of primer or something similar so it doesnt rust soon...I mostly havent done that yet because I live in New Mexico and the humidity here is few and far between

Best thing you can do is get some chipguard (it should come in a clear'ish, cream'ish color) and spray it on the inside.
Well, come to think of it, a dark color undercoating would probably work better for your color of your car.
