They say hind sight is 20/20 and I really wish that I had done the springs and switched to non-runflats 31,000 miles ago. What an improvement both in handling and the ride.

Sold mine, didn't get very much and shipping was incredibly expensive! If you can sell them locally and get at least $200 you'd be lucky.

Yes it is! I was looking at the pics of mine the day I got it a year ago. I can't believe the difference. I've spent over 6 grand in a year with: JCW suspension, JCW gauges, JCW carbon fiber gearshift, clear bra, tint, body kit/scuttles, wheels/tires, and a bunch of Prima products!

I don't even want to think about the money spent modifying mine My wife has been very supportive of my desire and after riding in mine want to look at suspension work on her car. Something about a ride that is not bone jarring if you know what I mean.

Yes I do know what you mean! I love the new suspension, I can't believe it handles that much better and I don't have to cringe every time I hit a bump. Ride is firm but no longer jarring! My wife as well is supportive, she loves my car and wants it IF I ever decide to get another one.

I know what you guys mean about spending lots of money on mods. I have had my JCW for 16 months. In that time I have done all the mods listed in my signature. I had the NM Engineering intake in for a few months and recently swapped it out for the Defenders of Speed intake. I also replaced the 18.5mm rear sway bar from the JCW sport suspension with the H-Sport 25.5mm Competition rear sway bar.

And an edit - Getting the RMW tune and flash tool while at the RMW/Helix tune-a-thon on Wednesday 4-7-10.

My wife does not support my obsession. As a matter of fact she hates my MINI . She does not like riding in it and has never driven it. The funny thing is that she taught me to drive a manual trans car.

This first picture was taken a few days after I had my car. I live in NY just over the border from New Jersey. I bought my car from Prestige MINI in Mahwah, NJ. I was still waiting to get the NY registration so I could put my NY vanity plates back on. I met up with my MA Alan who has the BRG JCW for breakfast. He is no longer with Prestige MINI
.

This was taken on Friday after getting my car back from Phil at Detailer's Domain.
