Aesthetic Creations JCW Challenge-style stripes installed w/ pics...

Mike at AC was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful. Install was straightforward, and the stripes totally make the car. I opted not to go for the roof stripes as I'll be having Mike @ AC print me up a custom roof graphic. I'm going to snap some pics of the back tomorrow.

Very well conceived modifications. Did you do anything with your headlights and trim? Maybe it's just the light.

My friend owns a body shop and we DIY'd them.

No, the rings are factory chrome. In the light on the 3/4 shot they do look a bit blue but it's just the light.

That's exactly what I want
My Laser blue MCS has just arrived at the port in NY, so I will propably have to wait another week or two to finally get it. I have ordered the sports stripes and my dealer quoted $400 for them including installation Sounds like a lot to me. Maybe I should get these AC stripes and stick them on myself. How difficult can that be

AC has a lot of incredible styles and options for stripes...id suggest going with them over the $400 price quote from the dealer. thats just my opinion.

Yeah I'd get them from AC but make sure you have someone to help you put them on. I'm sure it can be done by 1 person, but it's so much easier with 2 sets of eyes, and 2 people checking the measurements to make sure everything is straight.

Then you'll be very happy with the results. :0)

I would also suggest picking up some automotive grade 3M double sided tape so that you can remove/re-apply your Mini emblems after you're done with the install. It looks much better than cutting the stripes around the wings.

And, if you can, bring some jack-stands, because it's a LOT easier to heat/wrap the stripes around the exhaust pipe cutout when you can see what you're doing.
