Good price ? The buy-it-now is $48K !

The current bid has not met the seller's reserve so it's not going to go nearly that cheap, I'm sure.

You'd think a dealer would have a clue... I've seen better fleabay ads by first-time posters.

It's at Prestige in NJ and they generally do a good job. My guess in the price is they factored in ALL the shop time to put the JCW bits on the car, plus the rims and the clear bra.
I could see how you could get a car up into the 40's like that.

You are asking a dealer that question and are expecting a straight answer?. I'm sure they will tell you they had reserved this car to be the JCW showpiece and were waiting on the engine kit to come in.

Of course not, I'm a bit smarter than that and just waiting to see if he responds at all.

48k for a Mini??? I felt guilty paying over 30k!!

New Corvette's start at 44k.

Boxter starts at 45k or Cayman at 49k

CRAZY

Heck SDMike's new 07 is the most upgraded R56 I've heard of, and it was only $38k+change...

Well they did reply and it was " The only reason this car has not sold is because it was being used as an executive demo by the owner of Prestige. He put 234 miles on the car and it is now for sale."

did they realize that they painted the kit wrong

i honestly think it looks better painted the other way with some of the black trim still there. 48k for a mini is just way to much who cares what it has.... it better have a 400whp LSx engine under the hood in order to justify that price... and well from looking at the pics, it doesnt.. what gives

I guess the big thing here is how much the dealer is trying to recoup on the labour to install everything. Remember most JCW parts are dealer installed and the labour charges are often $100/hr plus. Most people negociate a break on that when they order a car so the "true" cost is often hidden.
Not defending the dealer's pricing, just trying to add perspective.

Does anyone else think the JCW rearend is ugly? I am thinking about just doing the skirt and painting the trim like Outmotoring did with their project car. Should be a lot cheaper too than the whole kit.
