JCW Spoiler yes or no

My cars coming in very shortly & don't know if I should get the JCW Spoiler or not?

In some pics I like it, but in others it looks like it takes away from the sleekness of the car.

LaB\B with JCW side Skirt only, custom black wheels w polished lip.

Thanks in advance, Guido

As much as anything is how it is attached. Check one out first before you take the plunge. It looks pretty flimsy to me.

Some will say yes, some will say no. You'll have to decide for yourself how it looks to you. I would say if you don't know, don't.

JCW is attached to smooth spoiler as one piece that replaces the factory S spoiler.

I think it looks silly and out of place. The MINI is too boxy for a wing.

Actually Guido, it depends on what your trying to say with your MINI.

Since you have the JCW side skirts and lip'd wheels as an option, the JCW Spoiler might complete the MINI.

I know SDMike has one ordered for his car which is 'on the boat'. I have seen some pictures where the JCW Spoiler looks great, others I question, why!

So, what are you trying to say? F&F, Mean MINI? Fast MINI? Put your thoughts down on paper, decide and enjoy the MINI the way you want.

It's large chunk of $$$ for the new spoiler, but I imagine it would resell fast here on NAM, if you don't like it. Don't toss your old S spoiler.

MINI's are all about individuality expressed through a vehicle. If you like it, get it.

Me personally, I like the stock S spoiler. Bodywork, too. I like the stock stuff even better than the two other kits offered by MINI. I like the idea of having a sleeper of a car, though.

Go for the one that make you happy and feel good. If you can't tell, don't do it.

That's the mentality that I took with my order, and ended up with a stripper. Well, not the cheapest one I have seen, but nothing but the goodies. I went back and forth on the color, and did not decide until on the way to the dealership. I also love sleepers, and will probably never put an aero kit or a wing on the car, ever. (Now if someone made a bodypan, well then I would have to think about it, and front and rear diffusers, mmmm)

That spoiler will add at least 15 HP.

Beyond the 15 HP, you will get more teenagers with fauxhawks that want to hang out with you.

I tell you what, if you don't get the spoiler, I'll send a voucher for a beer-that's an offer!
