JCW and Hyper Sport body kit pictures

Hi all,

I am having a hard time deciding which body kit to go with . I like them both a lot, each have their own unique look to them but one costs alot more. I would love to be able to compare them side by side so i was wondering if the people that have them could post their pictures of the kit they went with? That way those of us that are having a hard time deciding which body kit to go with will have a little easier time doing so.

Thanks

I didn't look through them completely, I know in one thread there were pictures of both kits that were posted so you can see the difference. I just did a quick search and didn't look through all of the results. If no one else posts more info I'll do some more searching for you tomorrow to find them. I know they are out there, it is just a matter of finding the right search terms

I've yet to see real pictures of the factory hypersport kit

all I've seen is bad photoshop pictures of what people think it might be, the thread linked is just theory, there's no actual owners car pictures of what it looks like

JCW kit cars of NAM members..

Hypersports kit ...(Arches have been painted which makes this kit look much better. AB cars prob won't have this prob of the abrupt way the black arches end.)

Arches weren't painted on this one to give you an idea as to how it looks from the factory..

I like the hyper sport one, mostly because I love the back end compaired to the JCW one. I don't like JCW back at all. Though seeing the back of the hyper on the blue Mini here without fog lights makes me kinda wish I'd ordered the fog lights on mine. But, oh well, it's not a deal breaker.

I don't have much of a problem with the hyper contrasting with the arches. I think they look fine if you're going with contrasting colors. In the case of single color schemes, then yeah, it makes no sense. But, like the white one shown in here, when painted, the final result is pretty sharp. It is too bad you can't get an option like that from the factory. Which begs a question, why was the Mini designed with black arches to begin with? Was it a nod to the original classic Mini?

LOTS of European cars have the black plastic trim. Not sure what the reasons are, but it seems to be a pretty big thing over there.

Ahh, I see. Seems the reverse is true here, with cars anyway. But SUVs are big on the black trim. All a matter of personal taste, as long as you, the owner likes it, doesn't much matter what anybody else thinks. Guess it's just great that we can have so many choices with the Mini. Mine is in transport across the pond as I type this....counting down the days. Will be my first brand new car purchase as well. So I'm a mixture of giddy and nervous as hell, lol.

I just had the JCW Aero Package installed last week on my R56 MCS. I personally liked that one the best. Good Luck! Let me know if you like it too.... We purchased the JCW Aero Package from BMW and then had our body shop guy paint it and install it...got it for a great price-around $2000.00 total!!
