JCW GarageInterested in John Cooper Works (JCW) parts for your 1st Generation MINI? This is where JCW upgrades and accessories for the Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs are discussed.
We have feeling that we have the only 07 Hot Orange JCW Cabrio. But there must be more, we would love to hear from you!! Or any other colors as far as that matters.
I too have a JCW but in CR. I drive in stealth mode with no JCW badging on the outside. I do have one question for you, Why is your top up in every picture in your gallery? You are breaking the rules!!!
No not at all. The photos with the top down did not come out as well as these. We make good use of the sun roof and top down. As well as top up with the ac on, as we live in the desert.
Love the car kwk and in plain clothes cool! We have kept them off so far but dam they look good on the Hot Orange.
We are picking up our 07 JCW Cabrio on Sat morning. Up in the Pac NW. Dark Silver Metallic with black stripes and every option we could stuff in to her.
Several under the bonnet. But there are two for the outside. One adheres to the boot and the other is afixed to the lower grill( the mesh area). I asked my dealer to not instal them.
If you do not install them make sure you still get them as they are expensive to replace,
Neat, thanks for the info, didn't know about those badges.
My MINI is "on order" according to the owner's lounge, and it's been over 2 weeks. So far I haven't heard from anyone how long it's really supposed to take. The dealer said "8 weeks", and I hope he's not completely off base. I sure would love to see that little dot moving down the production status icons though :(
The owner's lounge lags behind the actual vehicle status. My best info came from the shipping company. There is a way to track all of this. I believe the info is on MINI2.com.
I agree with Vic, lets see some more photos. I should have some more of mine later this week. But besides all that it's great to hear about any of these cars. It seems these are rare MINIs and we all should be proud of them.
Well as of march it was discontinued and what a shame. We were able to sneak it in under the wire thanks to the boys at Crevier! We orderd it in the middle of feb.
