Are there any replacement panels for the rear diffuser area that surrounds the foglights?

You could just get it wrapped by vinyl styles (vendor here)...he has flat black and the vinyl will stand up better to rock chips than paint.

I recognize you by your sig rather than your ID. Right now, I am considering the complete front JCW bumper and grill. I just need to pick up the phone and call MorristownMINI but the thought of $600 is making me hesitate. That $600 includes parts, paint and installation and it is a good deal. But still.... money doesn't grow on trees at my house.

So, I just placed my black grill trim. It's the original JCW trim. You can order it at the mini dealer for just €50,- (about $70,-)

A/B Photos?

Does anyone have any photos of these on an A/B mini? I was thinking of getting a set of these for my 07 MCS.

Thanks,

JB

Has anyone had any fitment issues with their trims? I ordered a set from outmotoring and my lower trim will not sit flush on one side. There has also been one occasion where one side popped off. Thanks!

They don't fit very snugly. Most of the factory ones we've removed had an extra dab of silicone on the retention tabs at the corners to help hold them in. It seems we're not the only people to notice them popping loose! I'd suggest the same approach -- a little dab of silicone adhesive, some masking tape to hold things in place while the silicone cures, and it should stay put.

Just a head's up for interested folks. The lower grille surround piece does not fit the hypersport bumper.

I'm going to be posting my set for sale here soon, and wrapping the stock ones with flat black vinyl.

Thanks for replying to my question. What product did you use for the silicone?

I ordered these from outmotoring.com. I am trying to put them on right now but have run into some problems. The lower piece is not staying put at all!

The corners do not have the clips as stated above but the rest of the clips are not holding it on there.. So basically it just falls off...

Any ideas before I put all the chrome pieces back on?

I found you really have to push on it, to get the lower to clip on to the grille. I started in the middle and worked my way out. Seems to be holding just fine, better than the stock chrome.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, the only way I could get it to work was with dabs of superglue and black silicon. I picked up my car yesterday and tomorrow I will introduce my car to NAM.

it's a different plastic, but you definitely could just paint the stock ones.
