Advice Please

I'm about to take a Whalen Machine in to get it painted AB. (Not this one BTW - https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...9&d=1174358997 It's a different one. I've been working on it pretty hard...not an easy thing.) I would like to get the little loops on the toggle panel painted as well. They're gloss black, and the rest of my interior is AB, silver, and that black plastic. It doesn't really match IMO. How hard are these to remove? Is this as hard as the dash and the door panels? Secondly, which color should I paint them? I'm thinking AB, but silver has crossed my mind. What do you guys think? Has anyone ever painted them silver? Here's what my interior currently looks like:

Thank you.

The toggle loops just pop out. I find that with fat fingers, threading something like a boot lace thru, and pulling on that works best for me. Just give 'em a good yank. (One at a time, if that wasn't clear)

Powdercoat them. They will hold up 10x better than paint. That is something I can do for you for not a lot of loot.

Can you powdercoat plastic? Doesn't it have to be metal, to get the charge through it?

Plastic can be powdercoated, with special powder(magic dust?) designed for low heat. I've also seen wood powdercoated, pretty cool stuff.

How much would you charge? I've already had my dash, etc. painted. Maybe I should have had them powdercoated too. It's definitely easy for me to just run them to my cousins body shop. After the shift **** is painted, I'm going to cover it in some clear resin to protect...since it's going to be handled all the time.

BTW...thank you for that info 3cocinas. That was awesome! They just popped right out...simply amazing! I thought I would have to remove the down tubes, etc.
