Does My Antenna Make My Wing Look Huge?
This is what you get when the worlds stubbiest antenna meets the worlds biggest rear spoiler. The fact is I had to grind it down to clear the wing when the hatch is wide open. The good news is it still works (the antenna). I'll let you know about how well this mombo wing works when I shake it out in the local twistys.

I think your question is the eqivilent to the question from ones wife/girlfriend "Do these jeans make my butt look fat?" you both know the answer is "Its your fat that makes your butt look fat." So my answer to your question is, "Its your wing that makes your wing look huge."
The proper answer to that question is to quickly change the subject...
or simply flinch in anticipation of the blow that's certain to follow.
I do agree with the above - it's really the huge wing that makes your wing look huge... but somehow it really works (which is actually disturbing, in a way).

The wing is a Fireballed from APR, with some mods.
I contoured the endplates and through some white vinyl on the out sides.

To answer those who ask who made it: my bet, it's home made. The wing is taken from another kit, the mounts look like they don't contour to the roofline exactly and the end plates look hand cut. But--it's cool!! Certainly is big. I fabbed a shark fin for my antenna to avoid the nipple jokes--it matches my rear chip guards in profile.
Good job if I'm right! Are you going to make them available to NAMers?

End plates still need some finishing touches - work in progress.
Wife calls them pregnant pigeons...

btw, the mounts do contour, its the rubber gasket that creates the gap. Switching the rubber out to 3M 2 sided tape should correct this.
Thanks for the comments.

I always answer with "is that a trick question?"
BTW, that wing looks great, i dont know what blumini's wife is talking about
The wing looks good from a decoration view point. It is hard to believe that it will put any useable down force an anything because it is basically mounted above and pushing down on the rear tires. Yes/no?
Replaced the rubber gasket with 3M tape and finished the end plates.
Hope this is closer to your standard of fit & finish
btw, GO BEARS!
