I am not crazy about the Alloy Patina interior that I have in my MCS. I like Anthracite much better. I was going to go and buy the whole new dash from dealer ($300+) but then I thought that someone maybe isn't crazy about their anthracite and wants Alloy Patina? We can swap! From what I understand it's simple, just pull off, snap on, with few screws.

Anyone interested? Especially nice in NJ, not a far motor.

I have alloy patina that I didn't order, it just came with the MCS that was on the lot that I bought out of the desire not to wait 5 months.

I'm thinking of pulling out all of the dash plastic, maybe the large silver pillars on each side of the radio and the silver bars on each door and painting them all.

Maybe the same color as my car- indy blue
Or maybe something like the anthracite (quite dark)
Or maybe hire someone to paint a custom color in dupont imuron like a metallic bronze graphite color- not sure how to do it.

How hard is it to pull out all of these parts? Just screws?

Send me or post some photos of your interior if you can. I have a yellow/black MCS with the cloth seats and the Anthracite. The cloth seats have a lot more grey than I expected and the Antracite is a lot darker than I expected. It doesn't offer the contrast on the dash that the seats have. But, it is tough to see the alloy on the mini website.

Actually, noone responded for so long (like 5 hours,

I also ordered all chrome bezels (not stick-ons but replacements) from that german site, I think Anthracite and Chrome will look good.

I have the same combo with the alloy patina dash. Everyone who has seen the inside of Alice has commented on how good it looks. Try looking here

Argo.....Isn't your dash SILVER and not Alloy Patina? I thought the Alloy Patina was dark grey with sort of swirls on it, like dark grey steel that has circular swirling motion to it? I ordered the same dash as you, and the order says Silver, NOT Alloy patina.

No, it's definitely the alloy patina. If you see it in person, it has the swirls on it. Certainly not dark though.
