My new accessory switch panel

Needing a place for switches I decided this location under the center consol would be a good spot. The center switch fires up my driving lights, the other two, no idea yet but I figure I'll add some extras for my future switching needs.

Very Slick...Very
The only other place that I prefer is under the steering column, my alta driving light switches are in the area where you push down to remove the "knee" pannel for if you were to install the euro parcell shelf. This makes them invisible to everyone in the car.

Well, that's damn impressive, a lot more so then my quick-n-dirty job, very nice. I tired to find lighted switchs like yours but my local Shack was out. When they get more in I plan to swap them out.

This was my first pick for the location but I was afraid my knee my bump the switch and turn it on. Plus, I wanted my switches in a area that was visable to all. A nicely done switch array always looks cool, kinda 007'ish

I am glad that you like my set up, but they are not visible(so your knees will not touch them not matter what). they are hidden behind this piece of trim.

Aren't they a bit hard to reach way down there?

I just tried to go to their site to order some switches, but they are having some serious web configuration errors. If you know someone there, you might want to give 'em a call.

See ya at "the glow"

Nope, not too difficult to reach. I wanted them out of the way yet visable and this seemed to be the best location.

It's working great for me in Firefox... What error are you getting? I know the owner's email address, and I'd be happy to pass along your error text!

I want to do something similar but I was wanting to add a second bank of the MINI switches... with how they are designed, anyone know if you could hook the driving lights up to them? they are not your typical toggle switches.. have the computer board behind them and all.

The main page loads fine. When I click on Switches the page loads with a bunch of links but the images do not, just the red x. If I click on Switches again I get a "this page cannot be displayed" error.

See if you get an error with this link.

http://base_http/switches

If I use that link, I get directed back to:

http://linux.duke.edu/projects/urlgr...e_test_code.py

Huh?

What are you clicking on when you get directed to that URL, Ron? Did you end up there from MY link?

I don't get an error message. It just displays the site with no images and invalid links once you leave the main page.

There is a problem with a variable on the site. If you go from the main page to any of the category pages, the URLs will appear as http://base_http/XXXX. The string base_http is supposed to be a variable, but it's not being expanded to it's proper value, which is www.oznium.com.

If you replace the "base_http" string with the correct value, the items will display.

Hopefully it's a quick fix for them. I gotta lot of switches to buy

No, but I took a look at the source, and they have their <base> tag set to <base href="BASE_HTTP/">

It should be something like <base href="{$BASE_HTTP}"/>, assuming their site is PHP based.

Hopefully it's a shared header, so fixing it once will fix it for every page.
