Push OUT (from inside the engine bay) at the FRONT of the grill.
Then once poped out slide it forward a bit.

I have noticed they can be a bit "loose" when replacing ... so just a touch of silicone will hold when installed and it drys

Along these same lines, has anyone tried spraying the turn-signal lens with tail-light black-out material? I know that they make a replacement, black lens, but it's clear, not "knurled" inside like the OEM lens and I don't like that you can see the bulb.

I used a paint for plastics. I can't remember brand but I don't think it will matter much. No prep except disassembly and tape over the red part of the S, I did not remove the S to paint. I have had it on over a year and no problems yet.

OK I tried pushing out on the front of the side grills and darn near pushed a crease in my fenders! Are you sure you just push out? I am assuming you just scuff the chrome with some fine grit sandpaper right? What type of primer and paint are you using? Specifically COR BLMY and golden child, you guys have nailed the look I am after.

There is a little tab on the front that they clip into. Its pretty tight the first couple times you remove it. If its loose on the reinstal then push the tab back a little bit and that will tighten it up and no adhesive will be needed.
