I ordered a Honda S2000 Antenna for a very good price off the web. I shoudl be getting it some time today, so I will try to get some pics and post a review. The total bill with shipping was only about 20!! including shipping not a bad price for the upgrade. Especially when all the other companies charge 25+ for it

The S2000 antenna was the first upgrade I did on day 2 of owning HARMINI. I just went to my local Honda dealer and picked it up. I don't remember exact cost, but I think it was just a buck or two over $20 and I got instant gratification. After seeing the other aftermarket antennas, I'm thrilled that I went with the S2000 one. It's short and stubby, just like the MINI

I'd be interested in seeing a close-up shot of the S2000 antenna installed...

I have the Alta Performance version of the stubby antenna. These stubs make a BIG difference IMHO in the looks of the mini. No more remote controlled car look. Worth the upgrade. Just take the antenna with you at night if you live in a shaddy neigborhood since people have been known to steal them :???:

Went to a honda dealership's parts dept and got one , installed it... within 5 minutes. They said "EVERYONE'S getting one"....

This antenna fits most cars allegedly.

Here's mine....

MightyMiniz - it looks great!

One question -- when you say it's easy to install, do you mean for the average person for a half auto-mechanic person?

Don't have my MINI yet, but from looking at the replacement antenna, it should just screw right on to the base.

Very Good! I may just have to buy that S2000 stubby and take it with me to the dealership when I pick up my car! I could change it out right there and drive out of there looking good!

this is funny, when I owned the Lexus, all the kids on the newsgroup were rushing out to buy an S2000 antenna coz it looked better than the stock one. I bet they've sold a ton of them

Why pay $20 for an antenna when you can look for a Honda s2000 in a parking lot and steal it? J/K No but really, those antennas look really nice.

I installed it, and it's a perfect fit. I didn't have my camera on me, but I will later. I got it from http://www.hondacuraworld.com for 16.95 including shipping!

Will get the pics today

You don't have to wait, buy it at a Honda dealership. About $22.50 plus tax, I can't remember the exact price. Just ask for an S2000 antenna.

Here is a comparison shot of the stock antenna along side my S2000 antenna:

The Honda antenna is more suited to the compact lines of the MINI.
