my glove box on my mini 02 just fell apart and the dealer said it would be 400.00 to replace and that was not labor thats a joke i can put one in if i can find one most of the mini's now have a lock on the glove box so do any of you guys know where i can get a replacement box??? i have checked ebay already but.......

 

I don't know where you are, but around here, people looking for parts swear by the junkyards. I think how well they are organized varies a lot. Some know what they have, others, you just go and look. But, they are cheap.

 

bo you know of the names of the junkyards i am in tennessee and i dont know of any yards in this area.

 

I know it is old fashioned, but look in the Yellow Pages under automobile salvage and automobile parts-used.

 

My local salvage yard was recently aquired by these people. They seem very well organized, but I have not yet done business with them. LKQ

I located a hard-to-find part for my old Ford truck through an online salvage yard. They shipped it to me w/no problem. I would search for online Mini salvage yards to see what you can find. I Googled it & found a few
