Thanks all.
Kenchan: The splitter is easy to clean. Just wipe it dry, otherwise it does trap some water. Make sure to put some washers (preferably black) at the mounting points. Mine don't have them (not sure if it came with them, someone else did the install) and the CF is now cracking a little bit. Just haven't had the time to address the issue. And yes, that is a second Mini. We are a two Mini household.

put either a grommet or faucet rubber seal between there, then a
metal (black) washer to prevent it from cracking.

water trapping is no issue for me, i'll just use a leaf blower. car
doesn't get wet much anyway.
Any of your cars lowered?
Any rubbing of the diffuser or do you end up having to drive like Granny?

Both my cars are lowered. But I assume you are asking about the one with the splitter. No, no rubbing. And I have some nasty speed bumps at work. I scrape a little coming out of some driveways, which has ground down the screw that protrudes at the bottom of the splitter, but otherwise there are no other ill effects.
Thanks all.
