M7 Air Plate Diverter!

What a beauty Nice Job Peter and Joel...absolutely high quality stuff...went on in under 1 minute...I'm fast with a Mexican wrench

Sorry to say it's raining here so I can't test it out in the field but would love to hear about your experiences with the APD (I think that's what Peter said it is called)...Thanks Doc...

mmmmmm....CF and Silver...

Nice Sid.
I haven't "felt" any difference with mine, but I was talking to Will and he told me that Bob was having problems getting his car up to temp with it installed and a M7 180 stat.
Sounds to me like it's doing something.

Yeah...the 180 stat is not meant for sub freezing temperature...as common sense would dictate It takes longer to warm up but otherwise, it's fine by me...worth it for the hot days...next year

I think he had problems getting up to temp after the APD install.

Haven't really noticed much of a difference, EXCEPT when I open the bonnet and see the CF-goodness

One thing for y'all to look out for, the plastic "Bolts" that hold the factory grill on rubbed my APD enough to wear a couple of scuff marks into it. It's not too noticeable and by now everything's worn in, but if your clearance is close, sanding those fittings down a bit beforehand could save you a scuff mark or two

In my case it was not the grille bolts that did the harm; I thought it was them, but instead it was the bolts for the driving lamps. On mine I used a couple of those clear rubber picture frame bumpers, rather than sand down anything. Besides, if you sand, how easy it will it be to ever use those bolts, should you ever need to? There are pictures in another thread in this section regarding my M7 installs.

You guys are tough.......

so far no need for the blue pill thanks......

remember I have an electric water pump.....and a car that is a rolling test bed...... so the APD (which looks very cool...no pun intended) is just another variable......

I did quit at 3 glasses (they were really 1/2 glasses)

Well "lucky" for me it was those plastic bolt-things rubbing The tip just wore away at an angle and now it's fine
