Lots of people part out their old toggle panels when they buy a new one. Just keep your eyes open in the Marketplace.

You must have been lucky.
I've seen 5-10 toggle panel circuits and in every case, the LED was not fitted if the switch was not fitted.

Big Daddy,...did you ever get the rear fog activated by the dealer? I'm considering this, and wondering what they charge for the activation of the toggle switch.

I've disassembled my panel and have seen that mine (from a 10/06 build R52), unfortunately, lacks the LED to illuminate the toggle, so even if I drilled a hole in my toggle, there wouldn't be an indicator light.

Thanks.

I paid around $90 at Motor City Mini to activate the rear fog. That didn't inlclude installing the new toggle panel.

Dummy Switches

[QUOTE=Big Daddy;1251028]I had also purchased a couple of dummy switches a while back and pulled them out to see if I could at least fill up the panel. When I started looking closely, I realized that the existing fog switch had a hole in the end for an LED to shine through. I also noticed that one of the dummy switches was the same

Can you tell me where to find these switches? Been looking for quite a while and all I can find are the ones for R56 and newer. No R53 in sight.
Thanks!

It comes apart pretty easily. Just press on the body while lifting up on the tab, either top or bottom.
