Interior/Exterior R56 - Four days old -colour coded arches
Being a HUGE BMW fan, I've always loved ACS tuninig for BMW products. This looks great!!!
Any more from where that came from???

Awesome.
Simply freaking awesom-o! I can only imagine what CR/B would look like!
(message to whoever designed the GP. See how much classier a MINI looks when U color-code the whole thing! Duh?)

I think they look a lot better painted on the new car too. They're just so large that they usually look tacked on, and this way it looks to be part of the design, like on a Focus or '66 Toronado.
Its not the R56 I know , but just to give you an idea what the car looks like colour coded , well worth doing ...when you wax and polish as well ...even better when the dealer did it for free

Did the dealer paint yours when you had the Aero kit installed?
Sweeeet!
That looks very nice!
I have only one problem though
and I'm hoping that it is unfounded.
How resistant are the wheel arches to getting the paint chipped/knocked off due to things like gravel being kicked up by the tires or parking lot dings from closely parked cars?
I've got a bad feeling about this one... Something tells me that I'd have to have a bottle of touch-up paint handy.
I do so hate chips in a car's finish!
Does anyone have any long-term experience with this that can help out?
Much appreciated and TIA!

Thanks for the pic JCW210!
Would you happen to have a different version of this pic or some others (of this MINI) that are not taken from this (artsy-fartsy) angle.
I feel as if I'm on board a sinking ship that is listing badly (that or watching an old Batman TV episode).
A properly oriented compostion would help greatly in evaluating the effect of the painted wheel arches.

Thanks!

You know, I have the same feeling (based on how the front can chip up) and that is why I decided that it wasn't worth it to me to do. I had considered having the arches painted and putting clearbra stuff on them, but in the end the cost and trouble put me off of doing it. On the one hand I really like the way painted arches look, but on the other hand the black plastic is low maint. and doesn't stress me when it takes abuse, so the plastic stayed and I'm relieved when I see it has been touched
