Urgent advice needed on fitting Aero sideskirts

Im fiiting my Aero side skirts tomorrow but am a little worried about one part of the fitting.
In the instructions it says to fit the skirt to the car in the following order, first attatch with the clips then fix the underside poppers and finaly peel the double sided fixing tape from the underside of the top of the skirt .This is what im concerned about.surly once all fixings are in place you wont be able to lift up the top of the skirt to peel the tape back or does the skirt flex enough in order to get hold of the tape.

Ok thanks but dont the exposed sticky ends end up sticking to the top section of the sill before you want it to.?
Also the black foils that stick to the front bumper around the lower spots, well \are they included in a full Aero kit or do you have to buy them.

BMW cannot part with the tow cover as part of the kit. I had to purchase mine for a whopping $0.85. Can't imagine how much not including these in the kit adds to the profit for the company.

According to the instructions, yes the decals (foils) are included. As far as the lights go; you have to mod your current ones to fit. The instructions show how to do it. You basically have to cut about 1/2" off one of the tabs. The instructions also call for the movement of the fog lights, that is only required if you are fitting a kit on a Cooper. The MCS lights are already in the correct location.

Peeling back a little of the covering on the adhesive strip won't hurt anything. Just make sure you have cleaned the doorsill with rubbing alcohol. To help hold back the ends of the covering I taped them to the top side of the sideskirt, that way they didn't work their way back under the sideskirt.

Good luck and make sure you have enough of each type of body clips. When you remove the current sideskirt, the chance of reusing any of them is slim.
