So I got a question about the areo kit...(which I'm sure was already asked and done)
Say after I get my car I decide I want the areo kit installed a month or so later. Is it possible for the dealership to do this and any ideas on cost?

I'm sure the dealer can and will get the kit for you, but it'll probably be twice as much as if you had ordered it from the factory.

I was going back and forth about the cheesy $200 factory armrest, and my MA said "GET IT!!! If you buy it from us after you get your car it's gonna be like $300 + instalation!"

I would guess the factory Aero kit would be similar.

the aero kit isn't any more cash than buying from the parts guy, but it does come un-painted. The aero kit as of now still cannot be added at the factory and is a VDC or dealer installed item. The difference is that if the VDC does it i don't think you have to pay for the labor which will save some cash but you will not get to keep your factory body parts. If the dealer does the work you will have to pay for the labor and it really isn't cheap. But from when they did mine the quality is top notch and i got to keep my factory parts. the labor and paint was roughly $900 but i didn't have to pay it because it was a VDC screw up.

I think the difference here is that i got the JCW aero kit and you got the actual aero kit.

wow I really like the hyper sports body kit look. so question, if I already have my mini (07' S) does anyone know who sells the hyper sports kit?

been searching around and cant seem to find anyone selling much of anything for the 07's yet, wish probably isnt much surprise since its so new, but if any of you could point me towards some places that do have 07 stuff id appreciate it, especially for aero kits and such.

thanks!

Forest has the 09 Aero kit

I ordered the Aero kit on my BRG MCS in body color. It is not the same as the JCW kit. Check out pictures in my gallery. I love the classic look.

Hope this helps

I too have the hypersport package on my 07. It looks great fully painted. Gives the MINI a full, complete look!

I always thought this kit was meant for a justacooper. Not that it looks bad on an S, I just think the MC slatted grille, and the none grilled rear bumper are signs...

I don't think you can get the OEM aero kit as a dealer addon. I think you can only order it installed during the build of the car.

I dont think you can do that from the factory. Minspeed.com allowed you to do that for a while, but now they will NOT ship.

Yuo're right, see answer from Mini USA:
I just spoke with the parts department at Braman MINI of Miami. Unfortunately, there is not an aftermarket Aero Kit for the MINI Cooper Clubman model other than the factory installed option. However, I was advised you are able to purchase the parts individually to make up the kit. If you are interested in purchasing these items, please contact the parts department at Braman. They will be happy to assist you and order the parts. If there are further questions I can assist with, please feel free to drop me an e-mail. I will be happy to lend a hand.LET'S MOTOR.Jase GammonMINI Customer Relations and ServicesRepresentative866.ASK.MINI (275.6464)

ive got the factory one on mine... there are some differences which would make for lots of parts swapping... so far theres the obvious front/rear bumper and side skirts. The front grills are different along with the grill surrounds. There are also giant plastic panels underneath the car to divert air.Still checking to see if there are any other differences..
