Project ALTA Light Bar

Ok, I am the proud new owner of an ALTA light bar thanks to a fellow NAMer. (You know who you are, thank you!)

This person needed the brackets that came with the bar for another project. So, I bought the bar only. If ALTA is reading this, can I buy the brackets separatly?

If I can't, has anyone fab'd custom brackets? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just like most people have them. Does anyone have a close up shot bracket? If I have to, I'll make some myself. I thought that someone said I could use metal strap, but I'm afraid thats not strong enough.

If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Oh, and I love pictures!

Thank you,
William

No help yet? Well, this isn't much, but it is a front & rear view of the bar w/ brackets. They look like pieces of angle with a spacer . Doesn't look that hard to make. Good luck.

They are pieces of corner strap with 4 or 5inch threaded bungs. The nice thing about making them custom is that you control how far the lights go in your grill or out. I took mine in as far as possible. Any fab shop or welding shop could throw them together in about 2 minutes. Well if they're really good of course

Gotchya! Much clear-er now. I'l keep them as far in as I can, just like yours. I've got a welder somewhere, so I'll see what I can whip up.

One last bump for the chance that someone might have exact measurements.

I'm probably going to dive into it on monday, so it would help if someone took the other half of the blindfold off. 1QKMNIS already did the first half!

Bueller?

Is there anyone that has taken exact measurements? I'd rather measure twice than cut twice.
