painted the CF
So i finally painted up the CF hood on the MINI, I think it looks amazing!

Awesome look!
I've always thought that a cf hood would look even better if it was painted, but left portions unpainted to act as stripes. Great stuff!

Now you need the CF hatch so you can get matching stripes.

If it was any other color but that, I wouldn't like it. I love the look of CF, so I wouldnt have painted it.
But.....since its orange....I'll let this one go.

Great job.. I like the fact that the stripes are exposed CF..so you still show what it is!! nice clean look!

wow, nice response, thank you all. I also was wow'ed by it, as I am continually wow'ed by my baby! When I get a sunny day, i will surly take more pics as well as an explanation for the hood pins. they are a custom creation and, thus, I am happy with them.

That is his actual hood. he has a cf hood and that was left un-painted and the rest of the hood is actually painted over top.
You can however buy some cf looking stripes from ac. They are a vendor here.
