If you even have occational mishap, you might wanna steer another direction. I have heard quite a few horror stories about front splitters and raccoons. They just shatter. If your really careful, you will probably be ok.

Keep in mind, you lose about another 1-2'' of ground clearance.

You need the struts for support.

I have both in stock right now. Regular and aero.

I was smelling venison for the rest of the night, which was less than appealing for my vegetarian stomach. If I had a front splitter, I would probably either be scraping blood and bones from the front of the car or be faced with a broken splitter - or both.

I love the look of the M7 splitter, but CF is very expensive. Are there any non-CF options for this?

if it helps, the M7 isnt all Cf, its a single layer CF on the top, with fiberglass at the bottom

the other thing is if you live in a wintery wonderland you may want to steer clear. I was thinking about getting a front splitter until last winter, when my car was basically a mini plow ( i guess a splitter would help with that wouldnt it lol)

Close to 40,000 miles now including two off road excursions at Willow Springs race track. This is the first slpitter we ever made and its still on The real secret is that it has a underlaying section of fiberglass which allows it to felx and not snap like 100% carbon fiber pieces tend to do.

You don't actually lose ground clearance with an m7 splitter. They're perfectly flat and only about a quarter inch thick (or less?). The flat top surface sits right against the flat bottom of the front apron and the back edge snugs up against that vertical plastic ..... whatever it's called ..... at the back of the apron, and it will still hang down about an inch below the splitter.

What you lose is some approach or ramp angle since it sticks out ahead of the front bumper.

How bad is it combined with lowering springs? Can still be used outside a track?

Speaking from first hand experience, the m7 springs and splitter work fine in daily driving (spent many hours with John Monk ripping around the Dragon with both items installed).

The m7 springs lose about 1", adding the splitter takes away a bit of clearance so things can be tight as the splitter juts out in front of the bumper fascia. It is basically no lower than the plastic flap further back under the car (the one that always scrapes on dips/speed bumps). Just requires a tad more caution/foresight when driving to avoid aggressive speed bumps/humps and road debris or obstacles.

Don't know what it would do in snow though....
