Besause of the side aribags in the seats of MINIs it is not recomended that you use seat covers as they may hinder the activation of the airbags or cause them to activate inappropriately.

Ive read the same warning for 05+ MINI's as well. apparently the seats and airbags were slightly modified for these model years.

Wet Okole's are actually open on the sides to accomodate the airbags, so no problem.

yeah, i called and talked to them about this. the seat covers are custom made to accomodate the passenger seat airbag. there are also some videos on their website.

Long as there velcro'd sides your good for airbag discharge. You can do this to any seat cover which isnt made for side airbag cars

Okole Wet

I have the seat covers in charcoal with the royal blue pin stripe and they look hot. My MINI is indie blue with a black top.

I have PW/B and am going for black w/ royal blue pinstripe. I think red would look good in the PW/B as well.

Just put mine in today. They're great quality, repel dirt/water, clean easily, and they do have the side cut outs. You'll love them! (I put them in my Tacoma when I started four wheeling, and now I swear by them)

BTW, in case anybody's wondering, I bought Steve's rear seat delete kit, put the factory covers in, then put a dark fabric, attached with velcro, draped across the back, so I can put cargo back there without exposing it, and I just pull it out altogether when the dogs are riding back there on the rubber mats.
