Interior/Exterior Front window tint
Front window tint
I had added a front window tint and had them add graphics. Not a great photo because it was pouring rain outside the shop.
Picture is in my gallery.
I really need to figure how to insert a picture into my post.

Right click the pic then choose "Copy Image Location"- then use the "Insert Image" button in the posting form (looks like a tiny yellow picture of a mountain).
Looks fun! What grade is the tint and what did it cost you? I'm considering doing something like this myself (without the lettering)...

Thanks for the tip. I am guessing it's a 'control' click on a Mac.>>
There's a "line" in the windshield roughly ~6"s down that you are allowed to tint. He tinted the top, not the whole winshield. Tinting the whole windshield looks awesome, but is also illegal on ANY percent tint.

Geez, there's a thread somewhere on this but I can't find it right now...
Anyway, there's a way to temporarily disable the dropping action - something like 'open the door, put window down a couple of inches, put window back up, close the door' - then do the opposite to re-activate. Remember, I'm not sure if this was exactly the instructions, but maybe you'll have better luck finding the thread that I did!

I think the guy that did mine just used a screwdrive to simulate the latch
post on the door frame. With the door open, he used the screwdriver to
operate the latch mechanism and that caused the window to go back to
the top. When done, he just unlatched the door using either the inside
or outside handle.

It's off topic (a first on NAM, I know
), but it's not a bad idea to schedule your tint job so you can drive the car home and let it sit for a few days... The constant up/down of the window that happens when you open the doors can cause you some adherance issues in the lowest 1/4 inch of the window. One of our local club members had the job done, drove home, parked the car and went on a cruise that afternoon, leaving the tint to cure all week! It sure sounds like a good reason to take a cruise!

Here is the link to the prior post about the side windows dropping down.
