Interior/Exterior Mudflaps- Pics?
Anyone have front, rear, or both sets of mudflaps on their MINI? Are they easy to install? Love to see pics if so, and to hear how they work. Do they keep the side panels cleaner? I can't imagine that the back would be much less dirty w/ them on, w/ the hatchback rear and all.
I have researched this topic somewhat, having also experienced the rear-window grime problem. Here is my assessment:
The mudflaps that are available for the MINI right now don't help. From what I have read, heard, and seen, the rears don't keep the window clean. Not only that, but they cover up the side marker.
The fronts keep a little grime off of the door, but not much.
In addition, you have to drill into the plastic, and I am not sure I would want to do that.
Do a search of mudflap in MCO forums and I believe there is a picture of the rears installed.
Hope that helps.
