Instructions to install retrofit oem factory armrest kit

It looks pretty simple but it will be the first serious interior mod. Are there instructions by Mini or somewhere on how to disassemble the console and reassemble the new one? There are a few funky brackets. TIA. Michael

Hmm I can't find a How-to on the newer arm rest. Just info on the parts required from Motoringfile.com

Hi there- I installed one today - went great, except I cant get the screws to screw all the way in. Are they tapping scews? Do I need an electric screwdriver? Or work on my biceps?

Overall I am happy so far...looks great, perfect interior match (duh). It does have a little more give than I was expecting...
