I think either of your red options would be cool. The swoopy checkmate would be more dramatic, while pinstriped black stripes would be more subtle.

If you do go the pinstripe way, why not just add the thin red stripes instead of putting black vinyl on top of your black paint?

Either way, I would add red mirror caps so the red stripes relate to another part of the car.

Have you considered spending your mod money on getting your plastic trim painted black instead?
