Aero Grill Install?
I just got the Aero Grill for my 2006 Cooper S and people say it's a pain in the butt to install. Are there any how-to's on this install? Any tips? Any help would be great! Thanks alot guys

The top part should be no problem.
The lower grill is the one you have to trim with the dremel to get it to fit the stock MCS bumper. I removed the front bumper, but some folks here were able to do it without removing the bumper. If you do a search, you can find the instructions.
I followed the Motoringfile instructions pretty closely (don't worry, you will remove A LOT of material) and left the tabs on the grill. Then I used the dremel to cut slots in the bumper (that was the most nerve racking part) so the tabs could be inserted. They snapped in perfectly.
Here's what the instructions said:
With the 1/8”drill bit in the dremel tool, you can drill one hole in each of your center point markers, then a hole on each of side of it at about 3/8” and then use the side of the bit to plow through the material between the holes. At high speed, it essentially melts the plastic out, making a very tidy slot
Good luck. Take your time. It's worth it!!!
I just did mine without removing the bumper. A nice sturdy putty knife to pry the old one off and just had to sit on the garage floor to get eyelevel in order to dremel the slots right. Wasn't that hard, just time consuming.
Oh and those plastic bits burn like fire!

Thanks alot guys, I just bought a new Dremel so I'm pumped to break it in. Now all I need to do is find the time to do it. I think half a sunny sunday and a case of Honey Brown should do it. I'll post pics when I'm done
