The #14 ball is on my mod list, maybe this summer. I PMed Liam (Minigolf) about it when he posted pictures of his, here's some more info from him:

Amir,

Yes, the billiard ball whalen shifter is both bigger, and cheaper than the usual steel whalens.

In fact the billiard ball I have is larger than the stock shift **** too. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but now I love it.

I can't remember how much cheaper it is than a steel know, but form memory it's about US$20 or thereabouts.

One thing to keep in mind is that it really is only an aethestic mod, the weight of the billiard ball is only slightly heavier than the stock shifter, and nowehere near the heavier stell version.

Cheers Liam

I've had both Whalen shifters and billiard ***** in the past. I prefer the billiard ball. I have large hands and they just seem to fit.

I agree, but one exception: I have small hands. I like the looks, the feel--especially when it is hot/cold. Hot is the go word here in Florida. For me it makes the shift better. Nick

I don't see anything on the Whalen web site about the billiard ball shifter either.

#6 Billiard ball

Thans guys. I called Doug Whalen and he does offer billiard ball shift *****. He just has not updated his web site. Man it feels good, brings back old memories of some great old times in my Triumph TR-4.
