I'm not sure but I dont see why not, I dont think it has anything to do with any of the other parts. consdering the fact that you can just get the aero grill without the rest of the aero kit.

I don' know. But here's a link to a how-to for installing the aero grill on a regular bumper. I know..... exact opposite of what you're asking for, but if you read it carefully you may find clues to any differences in the grills/bumpers.

Aero Grill How-To

Good luck,

u can, u can buy any bits and bobs off the aero kit, just get the sideskirts etc, so you can obviously get the aero wihtout the new grill, no probs.

How 'bout painting the aero grill to match the top or exterior color. Anyone done it yet? What are the paint codes for the MINI? I might try to paint an aero grill white to match my top and mirrors.

ibboarderh2o,
Yes you can add the regular grill, or chrome grill, to the Aero kit. Just serch the boards (I think I saw it on MINI2). It looks nice too...

It appears that the how-to I was refering to was just the opposite. How to install the Aero grills on the standard bumper.

Keep fishing though... It looks like Austin could be a good source.

Cheers,
Eric

i do not think my dealer (Long Beach Mini) will do it for me.... so i guess ill pick up my mini with front aero kit bumper with the 2 black inserts and then the chrome insert on my bonnet... . i definately dont like that look but my parental thinks he might like it and it will really **** me off if he makes me keep it like that... i think it looks terrible clashing. so i dont know what i will do... i guess im gonna have to mess around w/ it and try to fit my original one in.

any help for me?

anyone got an install on this?
