Try a pic w/o flash - might help show it off better instead of lighting through it

Thanks much... Still not quite outside but it gives me another perspective. I'm so undecided on grills.

is still raining and everything here, ill have to wait till the sun comes out, and my summers back on to do a final analysis... but it matches well with the rest of the car...

now im thinking of a giant 14' black stripe down the middle matching the hoodscoop.... what do you guys think?

thanks joker.. no i didnt paint the background... i guess without the sun its difficult to judge whether i want to paint it or not yet...

Thanks. Now that I see those I know I've seen that car before.

Hmmm... I still don't know...

im diggin black stripe down the middle.. but would love to keep the car as clean lookin as possible.... either black or cf pattern, but the real cf on the m7 scoop to the fake vinyl cf may look a bit....

Yeah... I wouldn't go with the fake CF vinyl. It's always too perfect of a pattern vs. real CF. I'd go black and if you want to do it, I'd go all they way across the whole car down the bottom of the front bumper and to the bottom of the back. I'd do it just as wide as the scoop.

One wide stripe, huh? I think it would be better to go with something like this from Cooperflags. Unlike the photo, I would start it at the back of the scoop, rather than have it go down the front of the car (but that's just me).

Yeah, stopping at the scoop could be hot too.

I too would like to see a pic like this...

I've been looking at all kinds of grill options, and would really like to see this.
Thanks!

its raining out STILL here, but i moved the car outside to do some pics... still on winters unfortunately...

also moved the license plate back where it was... i think it really does look better there...

from a distance, the car looks great and clean, but i still think that stripe that starts at the hoodscoop to the roof, but then fades into white would be very nice...

Looking good! I like your stripe idea, too.

Tell me, are the Ultimate Grills as see-through in person as they are in photos? When you look at the car, do you find it easy to see what is behind the grilles? (I have a PW MCS, so it would be even more noticeable on my car.)

Thanks

i also recommend painting behind the grilles. Thats what i did with mine. With the color of your car it isn't as noticable as mind which is EB. The electric blue really stood out behind the grilles and looked really funny.
