Looking for pictures of Aero Kit on CR/W Cooper
That about sums it up. Does anybody have a high-res picture they can post (or link to) of their Chili Red/White Cooper sporting the factory Aero Kit?
And, while I'm on the subject, can anybody tell me what auto-x class the aero kit puts you in?
Thanks!

Yes
The aero kit has cut outs for the fog lights. I've got em. It takes you out of the stock class up into some other. I dont recall the other class name but I did some basic inquiries here. If you look around the auto x forums here you'll find a lot about it.
Great, thanks! I had planned to compete in STS, but I'm not sure where this will put me. I did some cursory searching, but didn't find much. Everyone basically agrees that you can't compete in stock classes.
I also like your gallery shots. Very reassuring. I hadn't been fond of the Aero Kit on CR because the online configurator makes it look awful.
Anyone out there have the Aero kit and CR/W?
Thanks again!

hey xxTHIR13ENxx AWESOME COOPER!
I do have a recommendation though and I know i am being picky but... I noticed that when you got your wheels and tires balanced it looks like they placed the weights on the outside of the rim. IMO The wheels look so much better if they are hidden... I don't know they just kinda stood out on those awesome white wheels though, the rest of the car is great though.

Clamp weights. They're cheaper, evidently, and tire shops won't use tape weights unless you explicitly tell them to.
Anybody else have pictures?
Those were great, but I'm really looking for front-end shots.
xxTHIR13ENxx, I've admired your work for some time!

About the wheel weights, I've told the shop I do wheels + tires TWICE about this, and after the first time, they gave me a discount, but this second time was it for me. I won't be doing business there again, and I'm extra picky about that, too. I hate the weights on the outside. I might just change them soon... But for now, it's there.... Ah well.
Thanks for the
Take care,
Leo.
MCS with Aerokit is in STX, or you can run in DSP, SM, FP and EM as well.
I have an 05 MCS with Aerokit and those were the classes that Doug Gill (SCCA Solo Tech guy) responded with when I inquired about some rule clarifications on placement.
I'll quote him here:

I'll quote him here:
You are eligible for STX, DSP, SM, FP, and EM.
There are some things that may not be compliant in all categories. For
example, Street Touring allows camber kits to replace standard OE
suspension arms, but Street Prepared does not. Another example is you
can use DOT R-compound tires in Street Prepared but not in Street
Touring. Generally speaking, you can always move "up" in category (more
allowances) and not even chance your car. A bone-stock MINI could run
legally in EM (E Modified) - however, a dedicated EM car would be a lot
quicker.
Hope this helps.
