Spoiler and 3M tape question

I bought an Aero kit spoiler on ebay and I bought the adhesive kit as well but I'm wondering if 3M double sided foam tape would be strong enough to hold the spolier on without bolts like the factory spoilers. The Betalink adhesive seems like it's pretty permanent stuff and I'd like to use the tape because I know I'll be able to get the spoiler off again if I should choose to do so someday, but I'm not sure it's strong enough. Any thoughts?

I used 3M tape for the CF version on your spoiler. It worked very well. my install was high mph tested I also used two screws just as extra backing.
