Face Lift?

Ok guys I am getting bored of the way my Mini Looks! Other words the mini on the outside is to PLAIN! I need your suggestions. What can I do to make my mini more aggressive looking yet still look darn good? I was thinking of getting viper stripes done?!?! Yes NO? Maybe in a silver color? What do you guys think I should add? Look at my sig for a picture of my car. All suggestions/thoughts welcome.

DS viper stripes would be kinda hot... IMHO...

and a quick and cheap mod- black out your beltline! (3m tape!)

OOO Aero grills? those are hot.

I would either add chrome or de-chrome (beltline, etc), its kind of inbetween chromey or stealthy. If you decide on chrome I could give you advice but blacked out is hot too. You could give it a more agressive stance by lowering it, or definately an aftermarket grill and/or bumper. Dont know what tail lights you have, but you could change them out or black them out.

Yikes! That chevy makes me cringe...

If I may,
Try some aero side skirts, or maybe some custom pinstriping in red or yellow!

Also, you could use some HSports to close that wheel gap and tightn things up.

Looks really nice now though... Good luck!

garrett- start by lowering your ride. that's your first step.

second would be to get some factory aero side skirts or just do the
entire body kit.

I'd start off by lowering the car too, then definitely the factory aero kit front bumper and side skirts, and after the the cf m7 aero kit front splitter, and then the new m7 hood scoop, and some stripes on top of that. Actually, that's exactly what I want to do and in that exact order. Good luck.

Lower it, and aero skirts, and aero grille. But face it you are not going to notice that stuff as much because your car is black. Dont black out the belt line it gives good contrast with your wheels allum lip.

I was thinking of aero grill, but with the polished lip on the wheels, the grill and belt line and light rings match well! The aero grill is tempting though. I would like to get the aero skirts. Who has them for a good price? Painted black or not painted?

Msfitoy, I love the body kit! :impatient

As for lowering the car, I would like to stay away from that as the car is low as it is and here in NJ you need to be careful of where you drive! That is my only concern is the clearance! I am going to call some sign shops tomorrow and get some pricing. I would like to get the stripes in a dark silver.

I do have the tow hook on the car. It is holding my license plate! I will have to get some updated pictures of the car, shame its winter out and I can not wash and wax this baby up! Can not wait for warm weather! Thanks for the ideas and keep them coming!

Cover it in pink sparkles.

Well its an idea, I didnt say a good one.

If I were you and lowering was out I would do something about the grill I think.

You do not think that the aero grill would be to much and set it apart from the wheels?

I dunno. Have you searched for pics? There's an aero grill on the jet black thread:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ighlight=black
as well as some stripes and chrome and blackout pics

Theres a astro black pic thread too for ideas

New Look

You could add side stripes. A dark charcoal color instead of the white I used. Check my gallery photo.

I think Onasled is right, that black MINI is hot. I'm not usually very sure how I like that scoop and the big wings, but looks great on the black MINI.

Well guys, I took the plunge and scheduled a day for the Mini to get some viper stripes on the car! They will be metalic silver and was not sure what the size will be. We wrote down on the install form 8inches wide and not sure on the gaping. What do you guys suggest? March 17th is the install date. I can not wait to get them on. Cost me around $340.

It sucks that there are not to many good shots of viper stripes covering from bumper to bumper on the minis. I think I am going to go wider on the sripes now to say 10inches as I have seen some 10 wide versions and they seem to cover well. Still debating on metallic silver or dark silver.

Viper stripes rule. as do Tuls (NAM user) MINI stripes. they are fat, but run up the car like the john cooper stripes.

I did the aero grill mod and love it (sift through my gallery for pics). I also did the M7 splitter. I was thinking about viper stripes too, but I may do that on the next mini. I also did chrome mirror caps to add to the brightwork.

I think JCW Driver's front bumper with the m7 splitter looks real real mean and that is why I like it so much. Grrrrrrr.
