Interior/Exterior Gtech Pro RR Install
I think I've found a way to mount it over the defroster vent without having to drill any holes in it. I picked up two butterfly toggle bolts and some shorter screws. I plan on cutting the base to allow the power cable through then use the butterflys to open up below the cross piece down in the vent. That way I can tighten them up and clamp the base to the top of the vent. Will post some pics when I get it done. Hope to work on it Friday afternoon.

So, I finallly had the chance to start using my new GTECH my wonderful girlfriend gave to me for Valentine's day. I have tried to use it a few times, but haven't really had a chance to get into it very much.
I don't really have much more information that so many yothers have said here in the thread. But, I did want to share this tid bit of info.
I got the PASS software to work and download data using my Mac. Virtual PC was able to get the whole thing to work. Albeit, with a transfer rate that I wasn't expecting to be so slow. Yikes, I have forgotten how fast things like firewire drives and USB are. Man, are we spoiled now. Sorry, got off tangent, back to mac gtech usage. Once I had the drivers installed on my "XP" machine, the GTECH was sending data like a mad man.
After I downloaded the 2 types of data, I was able to look at yesterday's canyon carving routines on the G display. And see that my car has a 0-60 time of 6.3 seconds. Woo hoo!!
Hope everyone is having fun with their gtechs too...
