Check out this cool shift ****

This is a BMW DTM (German Touringcar Championship) OEM shift ****.
Any thoughts on whether it will fit in the Cooper S?
Cheers,
Herbert

No weight idea, but I'll let you know how much it weighs when mine comes in next week.

I like it, if the lever inserts almost to the point of coming through the top of the ****. That is how you keep the throw distance as short as possible. Added material/**** between the top of the shift lever and the top of the **** itself, the longer the throw.

Doug Whalen indicates that his BMW and MINI shift machines are not interchangable because the shift levers are different between the two, so unless this part is specifically stated as a MINI part, I doubt it would fit without modification.

Seriously, no disrespect intended, the first thing that comes to mind due to the color and shape is a shift **** for a crapper, which would be ok but(t) it would really need to pull in 6th to get all the BS occasionally on this forum to go down. (insert smiley face here)

Remember, different strokes for different folks. I see all kinds of stuff on this site I could easily make fun of, but I figure that would be too simple.
