Do they rear bumper Mesh Stickers come in other color than "Silver-Like" ?

I saw pictures of ones that look white, but some stated White does not exist, is that correct ?

 

actually, they are silver, and look so stupid, I am going to pull mine out and paint that section to flat black.

 

I have only seen 2 options. Silver with black dots which I have on my Mini and black with silver dots.

 

Try cooperflags.com - a site sponsor - they have a couple of standard options but you can ask for a custom set and have them use shades that best fit your body color. I asked them to make me a custom set that's dark gray with black hexagons (to look more like the front grills), and that's exactly what they sent me.

 

Interesting color combo. Got any picts? Mine are starting to kinda turn yellow so I was thinking it was time to make a change.

stickers turn Yellow !?

well you see the theme of my car is Black & White, Period! So I have taken any extra colors that interfer my combination like;

The front Orange Side Reflerctors and rear Red Side reflectors, i replaced them with plastic trims from England because they dont have them there. I know its against the law, but trust me, cops here in montreal got so much other things to do than worry about than chasing who dont have reflectors, lol !!

I replaced the rear lights with clear white lights, without adding any reflectors too, tinted the car 15% all around,,

now I have purchased Aero rear bumper from Scotland, because purchasing one from North America will come with plastic trims with reflectors, and most say ( they are un-removable ) as they're molded with the bumper.

I have just found a picture in the Gallery section, and the Meshes look White !! Dont u think ? or am i color blind ?

 

Johnny at Johnny's Auto Clinic or West Coast Mini in San Pedro, California has a black MCS with aero kit. He didn't like the silver either, so his wife made a black decal for the rear. He offered me a couple and I am sure he would make more if he knew there was interest. The number at his shop is (310) 521-0330.

 

Yea mine are starting to yellow, not a bright yellow mind you but like when old paper starts to loose it's whiteness. Got a new camera on the way when I get it I'll take some pictures.

 

I was so shocked yesterday when I learned of these decals. I had always thought it was real. I can't believe that MINI has opted for the same solution that Hasbro used on the GI Joe's I played with back in my childhood. This is like when you see a car with painted on Testarossa vents... I never figured MINI for a faker.

 

As some of you know, M7 does have a mesh rear grille for the regular
body kit. We are currently flirting with the idea, of a front lower Aero Grille
and a replacement set for the rears. These will most likely be available in
the second quarter of this year......
