Does anyone know if the Xenon body kit that Moss offers can be ordered without the wood? All I am interested in is the kit, and the tail light shades.

Remember that MINI's and Wood don't match. Please no wood.

 

I know, I don't want the wood. And I really don't care fpr having the exhaust come out the side either. Hopefully there is some option that would wokr for me. I just want a decent body kit.

 

FYI, the description for the Xenon Body Kit in the Moss catalog ends with the note "(Wood Kit not presently available.)." So neverfear, you apparently can't get wood even if you wanted it.

But I have to ask...why would you spend $1300 on that kit. IMO, it makes the MINI look dumpy and trashy. What's wrong with the styling of the actual car (i.e., w/o hanging a bunch of body pieces on it)? I know it's a matter of taste...but I'm just curious to hear your rationale. :???:

Oh one more thing..if you look at the picture in the catalog, it's pretty obvious that the side "exhaust" ports are fake. The car still has the stock tailpipe.

 

I am 18 years old, so I guess you can say that I am part of generation X. As you know many people of my generation grow up with the Honda's and such. Before I got my MCS I was very interested in the whole import aftermarket. I guess it still stuck with me. I want a car that is like nothing else out there. Thats why I got the MCS. Aside form its awesome quality, the styling is like nothing else out there. I guess what I am trying to say is few can have an MCS, even fewer are going to have an MCS that stands out from the others. Besides that, I think that body kits give the car a more tuned look. I think I am just obsessed with body kits. Look what cars and the MCS have done to me. Made me insane...

I hope they come out with a boat load of them. We need some varioation in the Mini world. Make that variation that looks good.

 

ya, they need a lot of body kits. is the xenon one available for the S, i cant find any info on it on the http://www.teamxenon.com website. it is interesting, but i dont know how it would look on the S, it is much more extreme and different than the factory kit which is better cuz the factory kit is not that unique. anyone w/ any cool body kits, please send me the info, i want to be unique too. Thanks
