I just had my windows tinted all the way around with 3M Scotchtint FX-HP with a metal coat. (the good stuff)
I asked the tint installer what the options for my sunroof were, they told me they stopped installing tint on sunroofs because they were getting too many coming back due to the excessive heat that the tint recieves on top.
It caused the tint to crack and peel.
I'd be curious if anyone from a sunny location has had their sunroof tint last for a while?
I live in the Sacramento Valley (California), have had my tint for just over a year, no problems from heat / sun etc. 100 degree plus days is a fact of live here in the summer time.

I know several Hawaii MINI owners that had their sunroofs tinted using various films ( dyed, metal, and ceramic) over 2 years and seem to be holding up.
BTW, Hawaii only has one season..........tourist...... .
12 months of sun....
I have had my sunroof tinted for close to two years in Southern CA with no problems with it. I felt that the tint (Limo) let too much light in the car, so I recently put on a cooper Flags Union Jack on the Sunroof also, this really cut down on the sunlight coming in.
