pilo wide arches

for a long time i have wanted to get/make a wide wheel arch kit for my S. i found out recently that pilo is the only company that had ones for the S, but they don't sell them anymore.
so i'm asking if anyone has them, who doesn't have them on their car.. could i borrow them to make molds of the pieces? i know this is a weird request, but you just can't find them anymore and i've been looking for so long. So i want to make molds and make my own.
i will pay all shipping etc. i will send back your arches just as you sent them to me.

on the other hand, if anyone has them and doesn't want them, i would gladly take them off your hands.
if i make the molds i would gladly make them for others.

i am only interested in the pilo kit because i have an S

I was told that Pilo stopped selling them because they were not of very high quality. If you make some, I would be interested.

If you made some, Pilo might sell them.

I would be a serious player as long as the quality is there.

I guess that means you don't want to turn the spot light on anyone? Or is it just confindential.

I know of more than one vendor who are thinking the same thing. Yes, it is confidential...even I don't have access to what this might look like. One is a full body kit designed by trained transportation design graduates

Wide body fenders, I don't know. Maybe next month...maybe next year. The other producer of wide body kit...maybe longer than 6 months due to complexity involved and it's just getting started. I'm not promising anything...k?

You flatter me I could and would if I had the resources. That said...you never know what'll happen tomorrow. There's room for more than one Mini body kit considering what's currently out there

I'd wait...the Mini's exterior design was excuted by an experienced/skilled design team. Don't put second/third rate design on top and clutter up a great thing:smile: Other than the factory Aero kit, I wouldn't touch anything else for now

well, i'll wait but i'd still like to see if someone has the pilo kit for me to make a copy of. i definitely think it would be in mini aftermarket companies best interests to start offering a wide arch kit. there is so much potential for just replacing the black plastic pieces - just look at the classic mini.

I friggin LOVE it! The Tokyo Auto Salon is literally a "must attend" event that has to be crossed off life's checklist of

"things to do while alive"

I'd have a hard time wiping the smile off my face if I ever went.

I just installed a splitter on my car, but THIS is a SPLITTER

you can probably add PCD conversion spacers on and start running
5lug wheels too at those widths. will make your wheel selection
MUCH better running wheels with actual "lips."

but i wonder how bad tramlining's going to be...
