Who sells the best chrome rings

For the price they get for these things I don't want to go wrong. Are some plastic and some metal? I would prefer metal if possible. Let me know what you know?

Well you may not like them then...Chrom Design is a company that produces partial rings that fit over the originals as a sort of accent. Very nice in my opinion, but if you want full rings they are not the ones for you.

http://www.chromdesign.de/ there are US distributors though...like mossmini.com

I'm in ohio

It sounds like your best bet will be the OEM mini chrome parts...you cant tell they are plastic...they are completely chrome and repace the stock pieces

I have the instrument cluster kit from OutMotoring (http://outmotoring.com/mini_cooper_c...uster_kit.html) and I love it. It is chromed plastic that fits over the original rings, but it's hard to tell since the fit is so good. The only thing I notice is the 40mph dash on the speedo is obscured from the driver seat due to the thicker ring.

Dude. Only fifteen minutes late at night had gone by. NAM isn't an automated answer generator, you have to wait until people are here who know the answer and are kind enough to post it.

Hey man this is my thread, jk

Does anyone know why the ones on Mini Mania are so much more then the Out Motoring? Are they the same or not? I really wish they would give a complete description of what their selling.

Mini Mania is selling the Chrom design rings that i told you about. They are more expensive cause they are realy metal. Outmotoring is selling the OEM chrome pieces sold by MINI.

Real metal would be cool, but I already got the plastic ones which do look good.

I've got a combo....real metal ones for the speedo and tach, and the plastic ones for the air vents, cup holders, and gear shift surround. You can't tell the difference really.
