I'm with ya big time on this buddy. I have these screens on most of kmy vehicles. A 1975 Postal Jeep a 1973 Triumph Bonnie MC and a 1995 Triumph Thunderbird MC this has become my signature. I love the way they look on old Brti cars. I have been researching tis for about a month now, and am tempted to try to have them fabricated. Perhaps one of the vendors on this list can fabricate and distribute. A great idea...JMAVP

Very Cool photo. I was at a Brit car show many years ago and purchased a set of these. I put them on my 73 Triumph motorcycle. They look awesome. Once again perhaps one of the distributors of accessories for Mini can make them or have them made custom for our cars. These will surely set them aside from the crowd. They look awesome on the older Brit cars...thanks for the photo...JMAVP

One of the projects I have been planning is a wire mesh grille and a matching one for the hood scoop. I'll have to see about purchasing an extra set of headlight trim rings (I hope they are metal). I'm sure I could make a set of guards, either integrated into the trim ring, or made to bolt on. I'll certainly have extra mesh left over from my grille.

Sounds like a neat project. On many of the Brit cars I have seen in the past and the screens that I have on my bike, the screens are chrome. Will your mesh be chromed? I'm thinking perhaps there may be a way to get a set for an old Brit car and perhaps stretched to fit the contour of the mini headlights, them have them re-chromed. I'll have to kick this idea a round for a while. I have been tryin gto do some stuff to my Mini to try and retro it out a bit....JMAP

I am wondering if perhaps one of the companies that advertise on this list or one of their competitors are not trying to make these cool retor style headlight screens. Would probably be line of folks wanting to purchase.....
This would most definetly set the car apart from the other "retros" currently out on the market....PT Cruiser and New Ford TBird....

I think I would like to have those too but would rather have them in powdercoated black then chrome though.
