Great Tint Deal Continues in DC area

Thanks to MDSBrain of DC Metro Minis for turning me onto SOLAR SOLUTIONS.

I just got a total tint on my MCS glass (except for a strip on the windshield that I didn't want due to limited visibility) on a continued group deal for $140.00.
That includes both panoramic moonroofs/sunroofs.

So, the deal is Carlos Gordillo, owner of Solar Solutions, is considering becoming a North American Motoring Vendor and is offering this total
tint job to NAM and DCMetro Mini owners for $140.00. $10.00 extra if you want the strip on upper part of windshield.

The tint and the workmanship have a lifetime warranty.
Call: 410-227-0521. Tell them you are a NAM or DC Metro Mini member to get this deal. They are located at 8740 Cherry Lane, Suite 16, Laurel, MD 20707. Thanks again to MDSBRAIN!

Hmmm... Just had mine done last weekend at HPR Customs in Glen Burnie, MD.

I'm happy with the service they provided though, so there's no regrets.

hmnmm, might have to contact them. I'm looking to get a tint on my MCS and they're relatively close to my work (Beltsville). $140 isn't too bad either. But I don't see a need, personally, to tint the sunroof/moonroof.

Moonroof tint

Tinting the moonroof cuts off the feeling of sunniness with it in the closed position but it is the main thing that also keeps UV rays off of you and your leather in the heat when you don't want them.

I know why people do it. I just don't feel a need with my car. Leather isn't a problem as I have cloth seats.

Does anyone Know if Solar solutions has a web site? I googled them but can't seem to find an address. I want to find out what type of tint they use.

What percentages did you get? and how was their work? I want to get my MCS tinted but want to make sure the work is good.

Straight tint. You pick the % of light transfer.

? By straight tint you mean ?

Do you mean dye film? Sorry, I wasn't sure what your answer meant.

Sorry to ask a follow up.

For those others that might browse this thread down the road, the dye films are least expensive (what your typical auto parts store carrys) and have a greater tendancy to fade, and a greater tendancy to change color, to a blueish purple. The ceramic and metallics are mote stable and more $.
